Film Europe, together with the national thematically-categorized CS TV television channel package and the European cinema channel Film Europe TV, is launching the premiere FILM EUROPE AWARDS ceremony at Art Film Fest. Awards in other categories (CS Doc, CS Muse) will be bestowed at other Slovak film showcases and festivals. “I think we have a great deal of talent in the Slovak film scene. They deserve to be awarded for managing to create exceptional work, even with the complicated circumstances the current Slovak film industry is in, increasing our country’s visibility abroad,” said Ivan Hronec. The award is given in conjunction with a monetary prize of 1000 euros.
